“ Came here with reservations on a Monday and it was pretty busy! There is street parking and a small lot on the corner but not too many spots. We got the black spaghetti and orecchiette! We were also given the bread service with a marinara sauce. The black spaghetti was delicious ! Super flavorful and the spaghetti was al dente. The shrimp was also super fresh and our server brought us a bowl to put the shrimp tails in! How thoughtful! Didn't end up needing it cause the shrimp came with tails off but the service here was impeccable ! The orecchiette was my favorite! It was al dente and the shape was so satisfying to eat. The sausage and vegetables were a great addition to the pasta. The sauce was amazing !!! It was an olive oil and garlic mix ! So so good. The bread was also so warm and fresh! We got the olive oil and balsamic to dip as well. I forgot what the cake was called but it was an olive oil and strawberry cake and it was sooo good! Our server brought it out since we were celebrating my birthday! Again, such amazing service here! Overall, really enjoyed my experience and will definitely be back! ”

“ All the pasta is very fresh and amazing texture. I ordered the agnolotti and it was very flavorful and perfectly balanced between the lemon and butter sauce. My friend's brother would not stop raving about the chicken Al forno! It was so crispy on the outside and had flavorful tender meat. My friend ordered the spicy rigatoni vodka and she was able to add the sausage. I loved how accommodating the staff was. The atmosphere was great and a very spacious and has a cute patio if you want to enjoy the outdoors. Lastly, I really enjoy when a nice restaurant puts extra effort into small details, the bathroom had amazing soap! ”

I have been here a few times and have had the pleasure of dining at their Chef's Counter back in 2015/2016 so please know that my review is considerate of consistency over the years. Ambiance: 10/10: love the lighting. Intimate but also enough talking that you don't feel like anyone is listening in to your conversations. When the weather is warmer, love sitting on the back patio outside. Drinks: 8/10: they are delicious but nothing that I would consider a must get. the food truly is the star here. Food: 1000/10 (see below for more detailed reviews) Caesar Salad 10/10: very delicious and solid Caesar, tasty dressing Pepperoni Pizza 8/10: nice spicy pepperoni and good oil that every pizza needs! crust could have been a bit sturdier but no complaints Ricotta Lemon Agnolotti 10/10: I ALWAYS get this no matter what I order. Some of the most delicious, creamy, lemony pillows that pair well with any of the main protein plates. A MUST try. Black Spaghetti 10/10: The pasta is absolutely divine. The texture of the noodles and the sauce paired well together. Not a super heavy seafood taste which we loved. Just fresh, light, and bright bites of seafood and tomato. Chicken Scallopini Limone 10/10: Super citrusy, bright, and buttery! I have only had one complaint once with this dish which was the size of the chicken breast but super tender and pairs well with the Agnolotti Bistecca 10/10: Perfect cut, cook, crust and presentation. The whole garlic cloves and rosemary take it to the next level and made for a great lunch the next day! Tiramisu 10/10: PERFECT! No notes. Must order. ”

“ If you're looking for upscale Italian comfort, no 246 will deliver every time. My most recent visit was for the NYE pre fixe dinner and it was great, per usual. In poor form, my partner and I ordered the exact same options. Usually we try to avoid that for the sake of variety, but I can't say I was disappointed. Starter was a combo on Caesar salad and fritto misto. These are both regular menu items and are always well executed. Some of my favorite fritto misto as it's not too dense on the breading. Next we had the tagliatelle cacio e pepe with truffle and duxelles. For me this was a 9 because I truly love mushrooms and earthy flavors, but it was only a 7 for my partner who is less enthusiastic about mushrooms and was more excited for the cacio e pepe aspect. For the third course, we both ordered the Prime NY Strip 8/10. I added the black truffle accompaniment and they gave a generous helping. The steak was tender as perfectly cooked. I know that the protein course is often stand alone, but I do wish there had been some sort of veg or starch, even just a little bit. I will note our steak knives could have been sharper. I was worried that the meat was tough when I cut into it, but we both just had dull knives. For dessert, we selected the olive oil cake with berries (10/10). I am a huge fan of berry desserts and this one was excellent. The cake was very dense and the creamy sauce with the berry mixture made for a really great texture and flavor combination. No 246 really hits the nail on the head for classic but inspired flavors at a good price point and the service is never lacking. Ambiance it nice but rustic and they have a great seating area for large groups. ”

“ This was my first visit here. It was a Friday evening and it was packed. The seating is pretty close to each other but the ambiance is very classy, very nice for a date night. We had to flag our server down every time we needed her which was unfortunate because we probably would have ordered more if it weren't such a hassle to do so. The eggplant Parmesan was delicious and my glass of wine was a perfect match. It was nice watching the lady putting finishing touches to the dishes before they were sent to the tables. ”

I had a passion fruit gin martini, fritto misto and the calabrese pizza. I would have asked for extra sauce on the pizza. The chicken parmesan was huge and the garlic bread was tasty. ”

“ I've been meaning to try No. 246 for quite some time now, and I am so glad I did. The experience here was fantastic. Great selection of cocktails on the menu. I highly recommend that Papa Lou (gin or vodka, dry vermouth, and olive) and the espresso martini post dinner. If your diet allows it, the garlic bread is a must order in my opinion. It was so delicious, and it's perfect for 2-4 people to share. The Spicy Rigatoni Vodka was delicious, as well. It's a great vegetarian option. The portions are generous. For dessert, they recommended the EVOO pudding cake, and I can see why. The texture is perfect and the flavor is perfect. It comes with vanilla gelato on top, which is also a plus. Great service. Great vibes. I'll be sure to return. ”
